What are method of installation shop drawings?
Method of installation shop drawings are those that convey scope of work along with design intent and that are approved by the end customer. Innerwall does not offer estimating services such as calculating material lengths and quantities.
Who are Innerwall Company drafters?
Innerwall drafters are non-licensed technical illustrators that prepare shop drawings for metal cladding projects in the US and abroad.
NOTE: Innerwall drafters operate under a signed legal agreement with the company.
Do we require a deposit?
A 50% deposit may be required for higher value projects. Payment in full may be required if we’ve never worked with you before.
NOTE: Higher value projects may also require an arrangement for progress payments every (2) two weeks.
Do we guarantee our work?
Yes. Our job is to get you approved with shop drawings you’ll be proud to submit. We guarantee your satisfaction.
NOTE: We make every effort to be reasonable when charging for revisions. In-scope adjustments are expected and typically no charge. Out-of-scope revisions are reviewed and quoted.
Who is responsible for drawing accuracy?
You, the client. Your knowledge of your own project and a thorough review of our drafting work will ensure your expectations are met. Innerwall drafters are technical illustrators that do not accept liability for dimensional errors and project compliance or scope oversights. Please review all work thoroughly and advise us of changes. We will promptly schedule the revisions.
What are our payment terms?
Most projects are invoiced due upon receipt. Depending on your credit standing with us and how long we've worked together, we may consider invoicing a maximum of NET 20 terms on select projects. We also accept credit card payments through PayPal.
NOTE: Payment is due after we turn in the drawings to you for the first time and not after an approval process. Large projects taking longer than 2 weeks to complete may be subject to bi-monthly progress payments. Revisions are handled on a per job basis.
What file types are required to begin shop drawings?
Innerwall Company is a drafting company and therefore we work with digital files. We require DWG files and a full set of PDFs. If you cannot provide the DWG files for our scope of work then we either charge a file conversion fee of the PDFs or may decline to participate on the project. If you require a signed Electronic File Transfer Agreement which states we will not use the files for other work, just ask.
